chrisdev01
Hello: I have a problem at KBZN; there trees all over the taxiways etc. I have ORBX Base, openLC NA, Vector, ORBX Trees, ORBX CRM, and I have installed the ORBX freeware Global Airport pack. I am not using the payware ORBX KBZN. Is anyone else experiencing this and if so, have you found a fix? Thanks, Chris
Quantum Amiga
I use a little scenery addon called LumberJack. It cuts down those trees! https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/6564/fsx-lumberjack-scenery/#filedetails Here's a couple of pics, they're from Flight Sim World (now defunct) but I also use it just fine in FSX-SE, P3d v3 and P3D v4. (I tried to insert as media, however no joy...) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1142340233 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1142340457 Cheers
Quantum Amiga
Also if you jump on over to BlueSky scenery (donation ware photoreal scenery) they have a package of ~2500 updated default USA airports. They are not hugely updated, more that they are updated to suit their own scenery areas and positioning placements and also typically include some updated buildings etc. They are often much better than the default FSX/P3D airport, that is unless Orbx had provided an updated version, in which case the Orbx airport would probably be better. You could try grabbing their KBZN out of the package and seeing what it looks like in your particular sim enviroment, might need to exclude/include it from airport elevation correction in Orbx vector though. I think it fits in farily well with the Orbx scenery. Cheers
chrisdev01
Excellent ideas -- I'll check out BlueSky scenery for my non-Orbx airports. Thank you, Chris
