The evolution o Cessnock

Forced to do a reinstall today, I at least had some fun at using Cessnock as my test platform. Here is a nice "transformation" series of screenies!

1. FSX (Acceleration) stock pick:

2. After FTX 3.0 install:

3. And finally, with the FTX/Cessnock add-on:

Sometimes we can get "used" to flying over the FTX landscape, and think it starts to look a bit ordinary. But this sequence certainly brings into focus what a huge difference FTX and the airports is actually making.  8)

Your pictures have an amazingly realistic quality to them, are you using the bloom plugin?

No bloom plug-in (have not re-installed it yet). My drill is usually always the same:

1. Screenies with the "v" key

2. Open in PhotoShop CS4

3. Crop and then resize to 1024

4. Sometimes: auto-tone and/or auto-contrast

5. Use the "save for web option" and that's it.

I am playing around with ATI Tray Tools settings for my video card however.
