active Re-install

Unfortunately, somehow my XP installation seems to have gone a bit mad, everywhere apart from TEGB looks vivid colours, way to vivid, the grass textures look bright green to say the least I have looked everywhere at files to see if I can see anything but nothing stands out and the only thing I can think of is to reinstall, it could do with a clear out to be honest. Thankfully I always back up my Custom Scenery folder but I'm not sure that is going to help. I have the Steam version of XP. 

 

Is it going to be as simple as uninstalling via steam then once reinstalled copy my last Custom Scenery Folder back over to get everything back? including my Orbx stuff

 

Any ideas or suggestions gratefully appreciated
