Bandit Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 ABC News inn Melbourne is reporting: Three people have been injured in a plane crash at Tyabb on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, south-east of Melbourne. Paramedics say the plane was hit by a gust of wind as it was landing and came off the runway about 6:30pm (AEDT). Susannah Wilson of Ambulance Victoria says the trio suffered varying injuries. "We've taken three people to the Frankston Hospital this evening," she said. "One woman believed to be in her 60s has a suspected broken collar bone and also a very deep gash to one of her legs. "There was also a man believed to be in his 60s with a cut hand and a third person with minor injuries." The front of the plane has been badly damaged.
