gibo
After reading in the forums elsewhere about 3d I decided to look into it as some of the videsos and screenshots posted looked sensational. I was dissapointed at first when it appeared that you needed Windows 7 and special monotors, but then in one post I read about "TriDef" and wow, XP is OK and standard monitor (LCD anyhow). Here are a few screenshots. You will need Red/Blue(Cyan) glasses. I picked up a pair at Kmart with a $10 kids atlas and have now ordered a plastic pair for around $13. "TriDef" has a 14 day trial and is close to $50. You only need the glasses to view as te images have been processed by TriDef. gibo
Thaks Matt, This stuff is simply getting better every day. I have done some C152 landings at Hervey Bay in 3d and the Warbidsim from the cockpit in 3d is sensational. I would like any feedback as to the depth of view . Is it over done or under done as it appears to others. Many thanks, Norm
Variometer
Fantastic shots. I love the whole 3D stuff, and your settings of depth are perfect. I did some tests with the Tridef driver some weeks ago, and the only weakness I discovered was the flat cockpit 3D effect, but the external views are perfect. If your trial version of Tridef has expired you might try to use the anaglyph version of the IZ3D driver, which is completely free. Download at http://www.iz3d.com/driver Cheers, Andreas

It appears anyhow that the driver you mentioned is for Radeon Cards?? for the information of others who may be interested. Cheers, Norm
John Venema
The nVidia 3D Vision Discover anaglyph drivers are 100% free - just download them from the nVidia website. In fact, they should be bundled with most of the recent nVidia drivers. It's only when you move to nVidia's hardware-based solution (LCD shutter frame powered goggles + 120Hz LCD monitor) that you need to spend $$

I'm still with XP. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers, Norm
