peterd Posted December 31, 2009 Share Posted December 31, 2009 (mod: Split from topic http://orbxsystems.com/forums/index.php?topic=5405.0) I just received FTX Australia for Christmas.....After attemting to install the DVD, i was initially told I was missing a 'file'...now, I cannot even get the shortcut to open.....I think I need to uninstall and then re-install. The ORBX file exists in the FSX root directory??? Can I delete this file from the root directory? Are there other files I need to locate and delete? When you open the shortcut, what message do you get? What operating system do you use? The ORBX file you refer to sounds like a folder that should contain more folders and files. Can you check this? FTX isn't installed in the FSX scenery folder. FSX is instead configured to look into ORBX folders. This ensures no clashes with other scenery. Cheers, Matt.
