Flyer58 Posted June 11, 2018 Share Posted June 11, 2018 Hi All I have a fair bit of ORBX Scenery for FSX very very happy with it worth the money I have paid in my view But I since bought Gold Coast airport installed via FSX Central then loaded up fsx and went to the airport but immediately got out of memory warning bell ...(VAS) in my research, I have since discovered or been informed limitation in FSX (4gb of VAS or something. This does not occur in any other scenery files from ORBX I have.. only Gold Coast Airport... no matter the complexity of my settings the size of my paging file nor type of Aircraft I use. Is there any advice or tricks I can use so I can use this extremely good scenery System is 3.6 I7 Quad Core ASUS 1060 6gb Card 16 Ram Solid State Hard Drives Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For the life of me I couldn't understand what this bell I was hearing every 10sec or so was about when parked at Gold Coast airport yesterday. I run FSX and have never before had a VAS issue and I have all of ORBX Aus scenery. I'm guessing GC cityscape is a hungry beast and that has some effect on my set up.
