Guest J van E
With the default planes you can simply rename de reflections.dds file (renaming is more safe than simply deleting). The file is in the Simobjects > Airplanes > Texture directory. This will work with most addon planes too, I think. It won't work when you use DX10. One more reason to not use DX10. Maurice_King
IMHO if you into the Sim for realism you wouldn't .
Guest J van E
IMHO if you into the Sim for realism you wouldn't . Well... some of the reflections (of the default planes) are downright ugly, way too obvious and... they don't move when you move, which is FAR from realistic. I love the Aerosoft Do-27 windows: scratched and dirty, becoming dirtier when you fly: very nice and realistic, but the lowres pictures that are embedded in the (for example) default C172 are far from realistic imho. Maurice_King
Yes I agree but there are limitations within FS if you want 3d reflections in the Cockpit then expect about another 4-5 FPS off your count. and Yes it could be done.
