East to West - Leg 13

This was a trip of 96 nm from Ayreyonga to Ayers Rock.  The Mooney is ideal for this length of journey and its not a bad aircraft to view the scenery from except the prop dims it down a bit at the front.

I quite like this place, Ayreyonga, and the locals didn't complain I was there without a permit after all.  Mind you, it was probably because I agreed to take one of their own as a passenger;

Crossing the summer mud flat of Amadeus Lake.  Depending on your screen you may just be able to make out the bump on the horizon which is the massive of Ayers Rock.

This flying in Real World Weather is all very well but even with the wind at only 7 kts, there's a bit of turbulance on the way down.

This is quite a busy place with quite a few various types of aircraft landing and taking off even including the odd helicopter.  I suppose its the tourists staying at the Yulara Resort.

For a default, the airport isn't that bad is it?

I'm not moaning and I know I've mentioned it before but I'm really surprised that many of your most famous places throughout the world have been largely  ignored by both Orbx and OZx.  On this leg alone, Alice Springs and Ayers Rock surely do need that special attention.

Thank you ImageShack although you did take a little while uploading them!
