Nikki2048
Transaction ID is - 585f9fa6d184b Hello, I have recently upgraded to the new Lockheed Martin Prepar3D V4.. However now my ground textures look like this. As mentioned in the "Read me" topic: I tested it with and without locked framerates. I tested it with about a million different setting combinations. Played around with standard as well as changed V4 .cfg.. And am now stuck.. For Christmas I wanted to buy some A2A aircraft - However now Im thinking of not doing that because of the ground textures.. I love ORBX and in V3 I had absolutely no problems? Currently I only own ORBX Global - However want to stock up to Open LC Europe if I find a fix! . I also think that I have quite a "beefy" computer running - CPU: I7 6700K (4.0 GHz) MSI Gaming Geforce GTX 1060 (6GB) 32GB of Kingston "high quality" ram An SSD with P3D on it.. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED -- THANK YOU AND HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS . These images are at EDDF, using Chaseplane to go up and look down.. Preset - Winter/Summer, Day... Using ORBX Global (Only ground textures) SETTINGS:
Mikelab6
Hi and welcome to the forum ! Try this, and if nothing is better, then go back to your settings. In Options-Display: - FXAA=OFF - AA=8X MSAA - Anisotropic=16X In Options-World: - Tessellation= Slider to full right - Texture resolution= Slider to full right - Use high resolution terrain textures=Put check mark in check box In Options-Lighting: For testing purpose and to remove load on your 1060 card, disable HDR and also Dynamic light. First : Test these settings with your current FPS setting then after try with unlimited FPS and triple buffering on. Mike

Nikki2048
Now it looks like this.. I think that is a little better, however it just doesnt look like the screenshots ORBX advertises?
Nikki2048
It seems that Aerosoft EDDF interferes with the screenshots I sent!.. if you move further away from the Airport, the textures become sharper.. So I think that ORBX isnt actually the problem tbh... But I still think that this isnt enough for VFR flying?

cbruce
Quote NEVERMIND - I FIXED IT - ORBX WAS IN THE WRONG SCENERY ORDER! I have exactly the same issue, what is the correct scenery order - I just left FTX central do its bit and just moved all add-on scenery above orbx, which I understand is the correct thing for these add-ons and for GSX to work?
