Huge168 Posted May 30, 2017 Share Posted May 30, 2017 I've just bought the FTX Global BASE and Global VECTOR running on FSX STEAM So my scenery or texture are blurry and slow load it's taking a bit to load the texture, I've done some setting such as set FPS to 30, un check the DirectX 10 My computer spec : i5 6500 3.20GHz, RAM 16GM, GPU GTX 1060 OC 6GB Any recommend what should I do or what is the best setting for this PC? Richard Lincoln Posted May 31, 2017 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Hi, Thanks for that, it looks to me that your Pc is not keeping up, typically, it should help adjusting your sliders to the left and finding a good balance, I do not believe this is an issue with Orbx Scenery, also having a look at your Vector options and disabling some of the features may also help. Richard Lincoln Posted May 31, 2017 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Hi, I do not have a recommendation for you, that is up to you how you configure your settings, as you can see in your screenshot, your aircraft is likely drawing your resources, you could try the same location with a default aircraft and see if there is a difference. This is an extremely common occurrence and has been reported many times on this forum, often resulting in settings being adjusted to achieve the desired result. Guest Posted May 31, 2017 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Hi, FSX is a very very poor program even if you have a highend rig like your. It's not recommended to set TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD to 4096. Have the developers find the right why this problem happened? For example It is like a game if the game had bug developer have to fix this out and update path for players.
