wombat
I did put this question in the Win 7 section but got no replies, perhaps somebody here could kindly answer my questions. been thinking of upgrading to Win 7 from Vista 32bt Ultimate on the 22nd Oct (or when it is on sale) I go to Control Panel/Device Manager/Display Adaptors/Nvidia GeForce 8800M gtx and auto search for drivers and I get drivers are up to date. When I use the Windows 7 upgrade advisor I am told an update is required. Current driver installed is 186.03 on the Nvidia site newest driver is 186.81 should I upgrade to this new driver even though Device Manager says that my driver is up to date? Dell XPS 1730 site has no 167.55 as the latest driver is this an old driver? Don't know what to do, should I upgrade to the 186.81?
alainneedle1
You should, the new driver may be better and if not you can always go back to the one you had before.
