an unexpected error occurred

Hello,

 

I have uninstalled ORBX from FSX SE and gone to P3D and installed into that OK.

 

I decided to go back to FSX SE and reinstalled FTX Base into FSE SE which seemed to work. When I tried to install the libraries, I got message to say download was interrupted and to try again! On trying again, the same message reappeared and now Central wont work without asking me to send a 'log' to ORBX, so here it is!

 

Can someone help please as I can't install anything else as Central not allowing me to.

I had the exact same issue as you. I fixed it by just completely deleting FTX Central and re downloading it. Delete the programe itself and delete the File/.exe that you downloaded to get FTX Central. Hopefully this works for you... Let me know if ti does.

I had a similar problem a few days ago and received the following advice from Matt, worked for me, also seems to have been a spate of similar problems recently, anyway see if Matts advice works for you-

Hi,

This is a known issue with the new multithreaded download capability which is affecting a few users and the team is working on.

 

The following procedure should work around the issue:

 

• Go to Settings
• Under the Tools section, click on "Clear Temp"
• Under the General section, un-check (disable) the "Use multiple threads for downloads"
• Hit save
• Restart FTX Central
• Try again.
