I have done a complete re-install of absolutely everything on my system, the system is more than capable of running FSX and add-ons, and I haven't run into this issue until now. After clicking fly now when the progress bar comes up it very slowly runs through the 25% area and again through the 70's. All I have installed is FSX, Carenado 172, A2A Cub, HolgerMesh, Orbx Gold and Blue, and OZx 2.0 2.1 2.2. Once it's loaded it flies fine, so it's not a massive problem, but clearly somethings not right here. Thanks guys, Matt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ian Routley Posted September 26, 2009 Share Posted September 26, 2009 Hi Matt, I have encountered something like this from time to time, but thankfully only temporarily. In my case it has resolved after a reboot. You could try a chkdsk /f or similar, followed by a defrag (probably with Name sorting - ala O&O defrag or JK defrag) and see if that speeds things up a bit.
