Biscuit Chucker
Just wondering, I have a dual boot system with both Vista Ultimate 32 bit and Vista Ultimate 64 bit installed. Now that Vista SP1 recognises my full 4Gb RAM on both OS's, I am wondering if there is an advantage to running FSX/FTX on Vista 64 as opposed to 32 bit or vice versa? Can 64 bit provide me with any performance bonuses that 32 bit may not? Any help appreciated.
sargeski
Yes, Vista 64 will be able to address the entire 4GB and Vista 32 will not. Not sure if you will see a performance increase in Vista 64 over Vista 32 especially since FSX is a 32 bit application.
Biscuit Chucker
Ok, so although 32bit is now recognising the full 4Gb, it still won't be utilising it then? Bummer. At least that means I don't have to reinstall again then! Haha.. Thanks again.
