Dadtom65
Hi All, can any body help me. I am looking for the post where the aircraft graphics were all over the place like the tail plane embedded in the center of the aircraft. Only the same has happened to me and I can not find the post any where. I am hoping it was something simple to set right and I do not have to do an uninstall and reinstall. cheers. Blitzer
I don't know where the post you want it, but have you tried simply renaming the fsx.cfg file and letting FSX make a new one for you when it starts up? You may need to change a few of your settings afterwards like screen resolution, but it might be worth a try just seeing what results you get using the defaults it sets for you? Dadtom65
HI Blitzer. Thank you that worked, and every thing seems OK, you would not think i have been using Fltsim since ver. 4 . Must be the age. Cheers
Ian Routley
Sometimes translation errors are a sign of VideoRam exhaustion ... Quite common if you are using the BufferPools tweak at too high a level for the scenery / aircraft + your system's capability. Currently I run a zero tweak fsx.cfg. And it is running just great (might put one or two back in, though .... )
bkemp
It may have been my post. I discovered that it was due to having too many [bUFFERPOOLS] in the fsx.cfg file. If you have implemented that bufferpools tweak then reduce the number of them to 200 million or fewer. Bernie
