toby23
Something is still not right with FTX... Now I've lost my night lighting and city ground textures are being replaced with stock textures at night... This only happened after using the FTX configurator to deactivate, fly somewhere else, then reactivate today... I've tried all the repair scripts included with the control panel i.e.validate scenery cfg, flush scenery index etc nothing helps I'm getting fed up with this guys... FTX is a fantastic product but it gives me such a headache every time I activate/deactivate.... Any help much appreciated... - Night lighting and ground textures were ok until I deactivated reactivated. - My terrain.cfg is ok, I checked - Scenery.cfg is ok, I checked - Autogen files are as should be for FTX, I checked - I run a german version of windows XPSP3 Any ideas? Guest Tapey
Hi Toby, help out if I can. One part I am not sure about is that you use the FTXConfigurator to "activate/deactivate" FTX. With SP3 you should... To activate FTX - Run FTXCentral, select the "Australia" region and apply it. To deactivate FTX - Run FTXCentral, select the "Default FSX" region and apply it. toby23
Dear Dev Team, This was a user error. Please accept my apologies. I 'accidentally' replaced the FTX lclookup with the original... (long story) Problem is solved and I am back flying in the only place worth flying in FSX... Until you guys release PNW...
