csharpe
N38° 31.92' W107° 57.68' In the Colorado valley (near KMTJ), I've discovered that the continuous irrigated farmland which should fill the valley seems to have other textures erroneously assigned. I've included the satellite image. FTX: Global openLC North America Satellite image Thanks, Carlyle
GlennH
Mine looks nothing like yours. I have Vector, Global and NA LC. Check your installation and scenery library ordering. I'm assuming you deactivated the Scenery tech land class?
csharpe
Thanks for pointing that out! I'm actually set up just fine and have the same view as you posted. Apparently, when I was turning the scenery on and off for the comparison shots, FSX became VERY confused and created a strange "mashup" which I was able to reproduce. In the future, I'll just need to quit FSX and restart after setting the scenery config. But here's what I have now... THIS is what that first screenshot should have been. (Note the farmland is still missing.) This is my comparison to yours BTW, your sky looks GREAT! Are you using a specific addon or shader to get those colors? Thanks, Carlyle
GlennH
Ah, ok. Well at least we know we are seeing the same thing. sky textures are the freeware HDE set. im also using PTA with the default preset.
csharpe
That explains it on the sky... I'm still in FSX, so I'll have to wait for P3D to get that sky!

The sky textures you can use......they were originally for fsx anyway.
Richard Lincoln
Hello CSharpe, I have edited text and removed the Other developers Scenery pictures from your post, . Please do not do this in the future. Below is a link to our Forum rules.
csharpe
Thanks, Glenn. I think it's the shading that's making that screenshot "pop" (so many more options with P3D!), but I'll look into the sky textures as well.
