Orion Pilot Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Saw on the news last night that the two crew from the Canberra Bomber that went missing while on a mission over Vietnam have been welcomed home at RAAF Base Richmond. Flying Officer Michael Herbert and Pilot Officer Robert Carver failed to return from a routine bombing mission on 3 November 1970.
