seery234
I have recently updated my P3D to V3.4 and took a flight from KLGA to KDEN. While cruising i noticed the ground textures are quite a bit off. Just wondering if this is a known issue and has anyone got any solutions? Any help would be great. Elaine Dixon
Seery234, Did you just Update Client ? Or Client and Content and or Scenery ? After you Updated............. (1) Did you Open your FTX Control panel to synchronize your Autogen and Orbx Entries before you started Prepar3D ? (2) If you Update Scenery, did you Re-Run the Orbx Global Base Installer again ? (That's a must when you Update Scenery) (3) Did you run the Orbx Libraries again ? (No harm) (4) Did you run the Vector config Tool ? (if you have it) (5) Did you Delete your PreparD.cfg and your Shaders folder after you Updated ? Right click and Delete both files, Prepar3D will rebuild them with new settings and Shaders. You will have to Readjust your Graphics and Scenery settings again, Start Prepar3D, go to settings and re-adjust to your preference Right Click and delete both files in blue Location: Computer ► Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► you ► AppData ► Roaming ► Lockheed Martin ► PreparD v3 Prepar3D.cfg Location: Computer ► Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► you ► AppData ► Local ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D v3 Shaders

When you Uninstalled V3.3 did you manually Delete the 5 folders, 6 folders Including your Prepar3D Install Location ? If you didn't you would be overwritten the New folders with the old folders. Did you Uninstall all Orbx products before you Reinstalled Prepar3D v3.4 again ? Depending of What Default Prepar3D files the Orbx Installer Modifies this might be an Issue for you. So you have done all the Usual stuff, Ran Orbx Libraries last ? Have you run the Vector Airport Elevation Corrections tab (Config Tool) ? ======================= What you could do is this (In this order) Locate and Delete these items in Blue, They will Rebuild again with Default files and folder (New) (1) Delete this 1 folder and 2 file.. ► Local Disk (C:) ►ProgramData ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D v3 SceneryIndexes Scenery.cfg terrain.cfg (2) Delete your Prepar3D.cfg...► Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► You ► AppData ► Roaming ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D v3 ►Prepar3D.cfg (3) Delete your Shaders folder. ► Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► You ► AppData ► Local ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D v3 ► Shaders (4) (Important) Start Prepar3D, Then shut it down ! By doing this you will have replaced these deleted files with Default files (5) Open your FTX Control panel for a couple of seconds to synchronize\add your Orbx Entries. Start Prepar3D and see if that helps, (You will have to Readjust your Graphics and Scenery settings again, Start Prepar3D, Go to settings and re-adjust to your preference)
