Heronjr
Hi All, I have been flying around Alaska, W Canada and NE USA for 4 years since my initial purchase of FTX addons to my FSX platform. One of the most satisfying routes I've planned is the reproduction of a flight described in a book written by a pilot from King Salmon, AK, ferrying his new Piper from Ohio to Alaska during 2 weeks. Other flights I've been doing using an Avro RJ70 to and fro Whitehorse, Yukon, in 250 to 500nm legs. But, since the last openLC NA (Aug 2016) things were really remade in visual terms along those regions viewed either from 4500 AGL or FL300. A special mention to the work applied in British Columbia and SE Alaska, where there are real complex (and beautiful) terrains mixing snow caped mountains, river, gorges, zillions lakes and forests. Congratulations for the work and thanks for the opportunity to see such nice Earth remote views, in places where few people live and most can only see in NatGeo.
