colton787
Good afternoon. I have been a long time user of ORBX Vector and Global. Recently due to some issues I had to reinstall everything and after a reinstall (I installed Vector over the old version as I saw no way to uninstall) the scenery looks completely different and unrealistic. For example, in heavily populated areas near southwest Florida, the terrain is largely farms/rural ares, whereas before it was buildings roads etc. The only thing that I can think of is that I uninstalled UTX and did not reinstall it. My question is, how am I able to see if Vector and Global are active (in Central they appear to be), possibly the scenery order in the FSX settings are wrong since the UTX files are still there even though I uninstalled it. Errors also occur when I start FSX that says "Scenery.cfg error.Local scenery directory (Scenery\UTExcl\SCENERY) in area.124 not found". Everything looks much like the default scenery even though all ORBX products are installed and REX 4 TD as well. http://imgur.com/zfhNQ2j http://imgur.com/ZaI18VJ http://imgur.com/ajsNhTn http://imgur.com/Y3heQ2X Thanks for your help. - Colton Order No: FSS0322688
__pf__
You will see in the ORBX folder a file called Troubleshooter. Open the file and run the Migration Troubleshooter application. Then post the outcome of the troubleshooter and we see what we can do then... Penzoil3
If he didn't install the library files, he has no troubleshooter folder. Standard questions. 1- Did you install the latest library files ? 2- Did you after installing the library files, open FTX Central, and let it activate the scenery ? colton787
It does in fact say ORBX Global "Installed correctly", however doesn't mention Vector unless it's included under global. When I installed Global and Vector, I used the latest download available through the Flight Sim Store, and when opening Central it didn't give me an option to activate it like it said it would in the manual. When I open FTX Central now, it has both Global and Vector listed so does that mean it's working? Do the attached photos look right to you all? Maybe I should just reinstall UTX ? Thanks a TON for all of your help!
