vinman1000 Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 I recently installed the NA free airports and didn't see much difference. I own FTX Global Base and Vector. I am using FSX SE. When I fired up FSX it reindexed the database so that leads me to believe it installed correctly but the airports seem generic. I specifically am comparing KDWH in Houston. I know that airport in real life but in FSX with NA freeware airports it has almost nothing. The PDF document shows up in the list in FTX Central. Could I be doing something wrong? I don't know how to close to real life it is, but it certainly has to be better than default. If you could show a picture of what yours looks like, I could be sure, but in my sim (I have the NA freeware pack) KDWH has loads of different hangars, a couple different runways, a water runway, towers, assorted static aircraft, vehicles, fuel stations, etc......typical default scenery is a runway and a building or two, so I think it's not showing up for you for some reason.
