spiffy_malice Posted March 3, 2016 Share Posted March 3, 2016 Hey there, probably a really dumb question, but so far in FSX I've typically google mapped an area I want to check out, chose an airport, then went into Freeflight and entered that airport code to go fly in. Well, I downloaded Devil's tower, and found that the Gillette airport KGCC was the closest, but still 66 miles out from the area. But a youtube video I found has a helicopter taking off just outside the travelodge next to the tower. How do I start a free flight from there instead of slogging it across the empty expanse of Wyoming? (While I'm at it, I have a similar question about isolating water take-off ports for the hydrofoil plane, rather than starting with a wheeled plane and switching mid-flight, it's not very immersive...!) It can be found at the bottom of this topic: This document lists all airports in the area, which are Airport Hulett (W43), Little Airport (W14) Ipy Ranch and heliport Devils Tower (HPDT). Greetings!
