beecher
I downloaded the zip file for the NW region from multiple server (tried UK, Australian and Global CDN) after purchasing the product from the http://www.flightsimstore.com/. It seems a like a specific file OrbxFTXPNW180.8 is always corrupted. How do I get this resolved?
Voyager
Hi beecher, Downloading a large file (> 300MB) with the browser will always bring some issues. You did not say, so I suppose you're not using a download manager. FlightSimStore recommends these three software: GetRight, FlashGet or Internet Download Manager. At least the last one I know will give you thirty days free trial. Cheers, Voyager
beecher
Thanks for the note. Yes I used Internet Download manager. Zip file actually downloaded fine (tried three different CDNs) and matches the advertised file size perfectly. Zip file opens but only during unzipping one of the files fails to extract and throws an error with both Winzip and Windows default unzipper. Voyager
Extract all files to the same folder using WinZIP, WinRAR or 7Zip and run the executable. Don't use Windows inner winzip. Check out if the downloaded zipped file matches these data: File size: 4,635,617,438 bytes MD5: 2977dd91c7e6220d7c88618fbf1f304b If not, download it again. There are 7 servers. I don't know if Internet Download Manager has "mirror", if it has, try to use it. Btw, I use GetRight and WinRar and no issue, ever.
