resolved ESSA and GSX without static aircraft

Hello,

 

first off - great scenery. Thanks :).

 

I have a small issue with GSX when static aircrafts are disabled. When I call GSX I get an error message that it can't find a file "ORBX_ESSA_APX_WithSatics.BGL" which is normal since that is disabled ("*.off") when static aircrafts are off. The active BGL is ORBX_ESSA_APX_NoSatics.bgl.

 

With static aircraft switched on, everything is working as expected.

 

Any solution?

Unfortunately I know very little about the workings of GSX, what I can suggest however, is rebuilding/regenerating the GSX database, with the statics turned off.

 

Otherwise it should work if you're sure you're never going to use the statics to just backup the ORBX_ESSA_APX_WithSatics.BGL and replace it with a renamed (to the same name) copy of the ORBX_ESSA_APX_NoStatics.BGL.

 

Be sure to do the above while the sim isn't running,

 

It could also help to ask this question on the FSDT forums, as I believe they'll have a much better idea of what's going on.

thanks so much. Rebuilding the GSX cache/database by deleting the folder C:\ProgramData\Virtuali\Couatl worked like a charm. Thanks so much ;).
