Floating ship wakes?

Greetings all,

 

Is anyone else experiencing floating ship wakes?

For me not all ships or water craft are doing this but after the latest Lib load I'm seeing it on a number of water traffic.

Any clue?

 

System specs include:

FSX_SE

FTX Global

FTX HD-Trees

 

Radeon R9 390 8gig

Eyefinity over 3 screens

AMD 4300 8 core

16 gig memory

The offending file that you have added to your effects folder is fx_wake_l.fx probably from a 3rd party ship/scenery, the file is made for FS2004 and has overwritten the original FSX version.

 

 

If you open your effects folder and then open the fx_wake_l.fx file with notepad and replace all the contents with this.....(but make a backup first just in case) Bruce.
