European Mountain Man Posted August 13, 2015 Share Posted August 13, 2015 when I start fsx steam after installing airports update objectflow module I do the update and get the message objectflow module updated restart fsx steam , try to run fsx steam after update will not run I get a steam error failed to start game fsx app is al ready running the only way I can get fsx steam to run again is to restart my pc . this is happening every time when I have to update the objectflow module . I do not know if is a problem with fsx steam or the update for objectflow module. Do you run some loadable module? For example saitek panels? When FSX starts it load modules from exe.xml configuration. When you are asked to update objectflow module, FSX will shutdown but propably loaded modules still stay running and prevent to start FSX again. You do not need restart your windows, just kill that processes via process manager. Then you can run FSX again. Same when FSX will CTD... processes still running.
