Trying to re-install paid for scenery on new PC

Order # FSS039332


Successfully downloaded South Island Scenery for New Zealand onto lap top. Now bought desktop PC tower for FSX gaming. Also running Windows 7, same Classic FSX. Copied download zip  files to external drive. Copied files to down section in Windows Documents > Downloads on new PC. One of the folders wont open, error message, "Nothing in folder, or cannot open zip file.


Re copied, same problem. No scenery!! Help

it's strange when the scenery already worked on the laptop before.


 


Despite, I would first re-download the scenery. I would highly suggest using a download manager for that purpose, I use FlashGet which is free. Moreover, it's suggested to not use the Windows internal zip program for unzipping but either 7-zip which is free, too, or another one (I use Winrar.)


 


Maybe you just used another download manager/unzipper on the laptop than now on the new desktop?

Thanks Michael, good advice on download managers.


 


I have what I am sure is a dumb question- but where is my FSS  account with the copy of the original download link? I don't see it in my site profile etc

Go to the FSS frontpage, make sure you are logged in.


 


Next select MyAccount in the menu on top (small letters, might get overlooked),


 


In the following page My Orders / View my download files.
