Good stuff Iain, especially the sepia toned Hurricane and your waters are very lively.

Back on the Orbx forums after a lengthy sabbatical and my heart took a leap when I saw Ken's new PNG package. I was always a major fan of the original PNG scenery but went with XP when FSX fainted. Now I'm thinking, if it's available for the 'X box' sim, then why not XP?

Please can you tell me which sim this is as I can't seem to find the aircraft on OrbxDirect as well.
cheers
Iain
That's XP12 and Orbx TE Southern California. The plane was originally freeware for FSX, XP11 and now XP12.

Your usual excellence - I was surprised then impressed with the two GB TE releases for XP12. Good on Orbx. XP12 is slowly emerging but is still hampered by its lack of interest in the visual part of flightsim.

An effective livery for this location - featuring the AWX C47.

My impending 81st. birthday got me wondering how many of us are past 75?
Please reply with your age if you can remember it.
If you are past 75 and if somebody asks you Are you An Old Coot?
Look them in the eye and answer, You Bet Your Grey Tail Feathers I am.

You caught me on a good day 5/22/24 - 86.

nice shot on a nice day for you, though rather wet and grey here...don't forget to bring the donuts...😁
Donuts are a 'no-no' but my daughter's here fixing fish & chips - not haddock but halibut in beer and Bisquick batter.

Happy birthday OnD, and thanks a lot for showing us Scotland in rare sunshine!
Spent my first fourteen years there and can still recall all the sunshine days.

Happy birthday to you, Old but not Dirty and todays screenshot is marvelous. If you are now officially 86jr young what is your unofficial age?
Is the shot made via XP11 or XP12?
XP12, the recently released beta 12.1.

It's probably already the 22nd in Oz so I'm officially 86 years and counting. This offering is a new experimental SuperCub type but four place. It has 210hp, fowler flaps connected to slats and both tailwheel/nosewheel versions with a choice of steam gauge/glass panel. Download at Xp.org. For you geography fans this is the bridge from Kyle of Loch Alsh to Skye, Scotland.

An artist - well done.

Ian you still have the magic touch.

It'd be like an Oreo without the filling. Orbx made some excellent scenery, both TE and individual airports. Those of us trying to make the V11 editions work in V12 would be pleased as punch to see them all emerge for V12.

The fact that Orbx has created versions of GB north and south has certainly brightened my day and the introductory prices were great.

Impressive list - for a few of us remaining XP devotees (Essendon was nice) what are chances of an XP version of the Alaskan Mesh?

For me the Orbx zenith was the TE sceneries, the backbone of my "custom sceneries" folder. Now the scenario has changed and, like it or not, we bite the bullet and move on.

Pete - fifth/second and first from the bottom -super IMHO. Gotta quit - keyboard's starting to melt.

Although still on my self imposed "break", couldn't resist this. Not many here realize you probably understand as much/often more in flight sim graphics than our hosts.

Likewise with 'Renault', a favorite in FSX would love to see it in the current sims.

I like your black borders and what's between them is super good too.
Big Iron nostalgia.

Back in the day, we saw a lot of this outfit stopping to refuel/change crews at Anchorage. Less aware of themselves than other airline crews, they received an extra measure of service. This a KSFO (TE Socal) departure headed for the great circle to the Orient.
