  1. This has been going on for many years & in various flight sim versions. There are slight imperfections in the world mesh data which show up all over the world.

Unless this is near an addon airport which can sometimes cause a conflict, there's nothing that can be done.

The only fix I've found was to use a add on mesh product which has the most up to date mesh data & keep your fingers crossed.

  2. I've had the same problem at other airports,& it turned out to be the default runways & taxiways showing through at different angles.

The fix was to remove the afcad of the air traffic add on I was using. In my case Traffic 360.It was causing a conflict with the scenery add on.

If you look closely at the two pictures you posted you can clearly see the difference in detail between the textures of the add on scenery & the default.

  3. I doubt it very much.

For exactly the same reason we got very little in FSX.It all comes down to the money. There are simply not enough Flight Simmers in Perth who would purchase the products and after all it is a business.
We were very lucky with FSX because the Scenery Designer Jarrad Marshall [ his airport scenery is amoungst the best world wide], actaully lived in Perth way back then & started a company with his business partner called WestSim Scenery. They produced the very excellent Jandakot scenery & others, before Jarrad went solo.

His work is all available on Orbx, but any new product produced must be able to show a worthwhlie customer base for projected purchase.
So unless there is some major event that makes Perth stand out to the rest of the Flight Sim world, thoes of us who live here will just have to live with what we've got.

    Cheers...Kim

  4. A great looking small town airport.
I just wish scenery developers would realise, that a realistic number of people are also very necessary to stop an airport looking like a ghost town,& maintaining a sence of realistic immersion.

People are just as important as every box, traffic cone, rubbish bin, pallet etc, etc, etc, that they place in a scenery.

I counted only 2 ground crew in the whole video.

Every airport I've ever been to in the real world has been swamped with ground crew & passengers.

As wonderfull as these new airport sceneries are PLEASE no more ghost towns.

  5. Love the shots.

I totaly agree about people,in particular ground crew.

Every airport I've ever flown to in the real world is a hive of activity.

There is nothing as disapointing as flying into a ghost town airport, you immediately lose the emersion factor.

Scenery developers do amazing jobs in the realism they are able to create & people just as  important as the various clutter they put in to bring these airports to life.
