    Great Barrier Reef Textures

    Hi Ikbenik

Thanks for your response. I should've been a little more specific! I was talking about reef textures around other parts of the globe in Flight Simulator 2020. I don't understand why the same textures were not added into this region. Especially for the fact that Australia's Great Barrier Reef is on the world's heritage list.

I wonder if REX simulations will bring out an environment texture pack which is available for the previous version of MS Flight Simulator. I own this texture pack and not only did it include Clouds, Sky textures for sunsets and sunrise, but it also included types of waves, and coral reef textures.

  2. I purchased Auscene's Reef World and they were good enough to respond to my inquiry regarding the horrible blurry reef textures. Apparently they said it's an issue with Flight Simulator 2020, however I have seen non blurry textured reef shots on the web.

I have the Australia Update installed, and I have placed or my Orbx cityscape addons with aero_orbx ...etc, to fix the Sydney Harbour Bridge duplication.

Does anybody know how to fix the blurry reef textures on the great barrier reef?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! :)

You can see the ugly reef textures behind the pontoon in the picture below.

Brisbane airport would have been great too.

This is a beauty but so far, MSFS is so poor on airports.

I hope this will be fixed.

For instance, i bought Sydney landmarks because of YSSY airport.

But you know that for shure

I bet Brisbane International, Melbourne International and Melbourne City will be on the list of up and coming projects.

This was never a requirement, sorry but the above statement is completely false on several occasions in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014 I have reiterated that only ONE order number was necessary.

Well I'm glad you clarified that Jay, and I'm sorry if I sounded a little annoyed.  Anyway that's great news,  because I was one of those silly buggers who did misinterpret the original instructions.

I'm so glad that I never got around to allocating a lot of time to enter all of my products in my signature.  I'd look pretty stupid now! Lol

  5. With all due respect,  I personally didn't provide my ORBX products FSS order numbers on my signature to SHOW OFF,  it was always a requirement set by ORBX.  This was always a requirement,  if we were to raise a technical support question, and expect a response back from the ORBX technical support team.

"ORBX didn't force customers to provide all of our product registration details"!

Please don't take this the wrong way,  and I'm not trying to be argumentative.   Its true,  we weren't force to provide our product details,  but you did instruct us customers to provide our FSS order numbers for each of our product,  if we were to expect a response back for any technical support questions.  It was obvious this rule was put into place to stop people who were illegally downloading ORBX products,  and then having the nerve to raise a technical support question when they ran into problems with presumable bad copies of installers, missing files etc.....

    :D
