This beauty of an airport was released this morning. I have just done a few touch and goes in the Comanche flying around Anacortes. What an amazing experience, a beautifully realised depiction of the real world airport. @Andreas Hegi you are a genius my friend. PNW is brought to life because of you.
Thank you 😊, much appreciated! I love the PNW region too. The Comanche is a great plane to discover it.

Very nice captures Tiger! Thanks for sharing!
To terraforming: the scenery contains over a dozen of flatten polys already. It has to be applied very carefully. If you interfere with the default mesh too much you create more problems than you can solve. So I tried to find a good compromise between reality and the sim as we have it by ASOBO. Personally I love the slopes on runways and a bit bumpy ride with the smaller aircrafts. It gives a much realistic feel to it.
So enjoy!

This is a very beautiful spot for some scenic takeoff and approaches! @Andreas HegiDid a fantastic job! I'll do a video between here and ENSG Sogndal in the next day or so, as long as SU6 doesn't nuke the sim! Enjoy these unfiltered/unedited images taken from different times of the day and year! The difference between the 2nd and 3rd images is the height so that you can see the 1-light PAPI at work.
Thanks for sharing Jean! Much appreciated!

Once again Andreas has come up with a nifty airport in a spectacular setting.
So, If you want a compact airport in stunning scenery, with tricky approaches from both ends, this is it!
TTM (MSFS)
Thanks Tiger! You can train your instrumental flight skills with ILS or LOC/DME approaches if conditions are bad for a visual approach. Both localizers are present in the scenery.

Hi Michael,
thank you for your interest on Sandane for P3D V5. It could be a mesh issue we couldn't solve, I have to investigate further!
Cheers

I love this airport! It was one of the first airports I purchased for FSX. The sports cars look awesome! Will we see the school buses in front of the school like in the FSX version?
Yes, there are a couple of school buses there infront of the bus depot.

Sounds promissing! Just sent you a PM.

Andreas, is there any chance of you doing Arlington KAWO ? It is in the same general area and just a little bit bigger, so that you can get the CJ4 in and out easily. They have a wonderful airshow each summer.
I like Arlington too, have been there a couple of times virtually. I would have to study it closer and then of course get high quality photographs of the main buildings and objects from someone living local.

Thanks Andrea, Concrete and Darrington were the first Orbx scenaries in US for me ten years ago and after KORS. It's a great pleasure to come back with these update for FS2020. I'm waiting now Skagit and many more. I hope you will add some new airfield in the future. it seems now big airports are the new standard for Orbx designer but I prefer little one like Concrete and Darrington as in the real life.
I also purchased all your otehrs sceneries in US and Australia !!
Merci beaucoup Franck! Yes I love these small airfields also very much. They have so much atmosphere and authentic flair. That's why I stick to those!

I am from Washington State and looking forward to adding Concrete and other Orbx airports to MSFS in the PNW.I have been to Concrete several times. Has the town been modeled like it was in P3d? I see you have the Ferrari & Mustang at the airport.Would be great to see the Porsche 911 & Porsche GT3 parked at your other Washington Oregon & California airports. I own a 2015 GT3 painted Arena Red one of ten in that color in the world ! What a treat to see it at your airports some day.
The owner of the Bolan hangar has a great car collection inside. I am not sure if he also owns a Porsche. GT3 is a fantastic sports car!

Back in P3D remember they had them for controlling densities, of objects, people flow, etc....
Johnny, the new game engine is still very young, there is still a lot to discover, the SDK is not completed yet, the game is still under development so it will take some time until we get more control .
