  1. Hi I am having some problems to choose a monitor for MSFS. I had a lot of statements and it is getting very confused until now. HDR, HRR, VRR, G-Sync, G-Sync adapt, G-Sync compatible... I am getting confused with all of these. First, the specs and the needs: 1. I have i9-10900K with Asus ROG Strix RTX 3090 OC 24GB 2. I would like to run MSFS in a 2K resolution (2560x1440). I would like to know if the following options are good for MSFS, and if not, why: https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/TUF-Gaming/TUF-GAMING-VG27AQ1A/ https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/TUF-Gaming/TUF-Gaming-VG27AQL1A/ https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/TUF-Gaming/TUF-Gaming-VG27AQ/ https://www.amazon.com/LG-27GL850-B-Ultragear-Compatible-Monitor/dp/B07TD94TQF I would like to keep it simple, like a "yes/no" answer and a short answer if the opinion is negative. I am trying to choose something and if I keep discussions for 3 months, it is impossible to buy something. NOTE: Just forget the post before. I cannot delete it.
  2. Hi I am trying to choose a new monitor mainly for MSFS. It seems that the one below is not good because variable refresh rate goes from 48 to 144 Hz. Concerning that with MSFS we get a range of 25-30 to 50 fps, I will have problems with tearing, stutters and so on. Is it true? It seems the best would be 0 - 144 Hz. Someone wrote that it would be better to have fixed 60 Hz, but I use monitor for other things and not only MSFS. I would like to know something about this issue. Thanks. https://www.pcdiga.com/monitor-asus-tuf-gaming-vg27aq1a-ips-27-qhd-170hz-freesync-g-sync-compatible-90lm05z0-b02370?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlcjhn9vS8AIVzO3mCh0YegC-EAQYBCABEgI0qPD_BwE
  3. 3200 CL14 are in general expensive, except G. Skill Ripjaws V... Many people say this is less good than Trident Z kits... Is it true? And all of these memories are already coming with 1,35 V... How can I overclock them?
  4. I am planning to overclock RAM... Should I buy 3200 CL14 instead of 3600 CL16?
  5. Do I lose performance if I go to 3600 16-19-19-39? I cannot find b-die...
  6. How do I know that both options are based on Samsung B die? What is it exactly? 3200 CL14 is 14-14-14-34 but 3600 CL16 is 16-19-19-39. It is difficult to find 16-16-16-36... I see that many people votes for the Arctic Liquid Freezer II. However it is a very cheap one. Do people vote for relation price/quality or it is absolutely the best comparing with Lian Li, Coolermaster, Corsair and Kraken, even the most expensive ones from these companies?
  7. Hi, After some years of break I am back to MSFS. I am trying to complete my new machine which at the moment has: - CPU: i9-10900K - GPU: Asus Rog Strix RTX 3090 24GB OC - MB: MSI MEG Z490 ACE Gaming - Storage 1 (OS) : M.2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus - Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic - PSU: Corsair RM1000x I still need some advices for: - RAM Memory: 3600 CL16 or 3200 CL14? - Storage 2 (MSFS): Is Intel 660p 2TB a good M.2? I ask about this one because it is one of the cheapest with 2 TB... I would like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus but it is really expensive... - Cooler: AIO 360 mm is for sure, but which one? Kraken Z73, Corsair H150i, Coolermaster, Lian Li Galahad 360, Arctic Liquid Freezer II, another one?
