  1. Here's one out of left field....I would love it if you guys would do one in North America.  My suggestions are (to my knowledge no one has claimed these as WIP or planned):

    • KAUS (Austin TX USA)
    • KBNA (Nashville TN USA)
    • MMSD (Cabo San Lucas Mexico)
    • KPHL (Philadelphia PA USA)

Out of those, KAUS and MMSD are probably fairly small (one or two small simple terminals).  KAUS in photogrammetry and easy access to great satellite imagery.  Just suggestions/requests - maybe not your preferred direction and that's cool if not.  Had to ask! ;)

    Love all you do!

Thanks heaps for the help bro, but i think i might of misunderstood your comment, i dont have navigraph, im just not getting any stars or sids in the msfs flight planner. If we have to wait for Orbx to update it, i imagine we'll be here a while

I think it works the same way though.  I think you just have to place the KBUR line in the file ahead of the default fs-nav-data line...UNLESS Asobo by default doesn't have that data at all, in which case I would seriously recommend Navigraph if you use that airport a lot - chances are it isn't the only one you'll run into.  I don't think that's the case though because others would have been complaining for a while.  I think if you move the line it'll work. Can't guarantee it but it certainly won't hurt.  If it's not that, I'm out of ideas.

Hey mate, coming here to find a solution to this, which seems you have, but where do i find the content.xml file, or can you link me to a guide/vid ? cheers

Happy to help walk you thru.  I'm at work right now so don't have access to the file system to copy/paste descriptions, but I can still guide you a bit.  Here are some links from Navigraph's forum that walks you thru the concept (it was for FSDT's KORD but nonetheless, same idea):

    Location of Content.xml discussion: https://forum.navigraph.com/t/faq-location-path-of-content-xml-package-file/2798

Discussion of how to fix: https://forum.navigraph.com/t/no-stars-into-kord/3939/6

Essentially, once you locate the Content.xml file, you need to edit it with your favorite text editing program (I recommend Notepad++).  All you do is cut and paste the line for KBUR and move it to where it is located before Navigraph data's line.  This makes it a lower priority so that the SID/STAR data from Navigraph will show up.  Works like a champ for me now.

If you're not using Navigraph, try the same process but make sure that KBUR is listed before the default nav data line (it should be but make sure).  Cheers!

I get no access to SIDs/STARs at all once I select a departure gate.  Only Direct option with no ability to choose runway.  I've moved the airport above the Navigraph data in the Content xml file which is sometimes the case where this happens after an update (FSDT KORD for example).  No dice.  Ideas??

OK, I have solved this issue for any users that see similar.  As i suspected, it works like FSDT's KORD in that it doesn't have its own SID/STAR data embedded, thus relying upon the default data.  In order for the SID/STAR data to populate, the KBUR entry in the Content.xml file needs to be listed above the fs-base line, giving the fs-base line a higher priority.  Presto!  They show up on the next restart.

  6. Would love to see KAUS (Austin) more than any by you.

Along with Austin Landmarks would be a BEAUTIFUL combo for you guys, and frankly, Texas could use the Orbx touch all over.  Some great airports and scenery/landscape similar to many parts of Australia.

Others I would like are: PANC (Anchorage), KSNA (Orange County/Santa Ana), KDAL (Dallas-Love), KATL (Atlanta), CYYC (Calgary), KPHL (Philadelphia), & KMCO (Orlando).

Would love to see your Landmarks for: Austin (with airport), Dallas (with airport), Houston, Charlotte, Calgary (with airport), Vancouver, Philadelphia (with airport).

    Hi

Did you also delete and turn off the rolling cache?

Yes, I did do that as well...forgot to mention.  After watching the video, I'll double check that back at both KSBA and KSJC, but I gotta tell you I don't think that's my issue because right now at FL160 the scenery and clouds are stunning and trees are populating as I would expect for Ultra.  The sunlight bouncing off the chrome on my DC-6, etc...I mean, if this isn't Ultra, I can't imagine what I'm missing.

  8. OK, that's strange.  Both mine are OrbxDirect purchases.  I have (since installing SU5 and 1.18.15.0) removed all Community folder contents as advised, only adding back in what was said to be working thus far), deleted the Content.xml file and allowed FS to recreate, reinstalled the OrbxDirect sceneries I had previously installed and removed, restarted the sim after each new flight.

These are the first two airports I have discovered missing jetways at.  My settings are Ultra, PG is on.

Anybody got any ideas of what else I should check?

  9. Well, KBUR is good news/bad news.  The good news is - it doesn't seem like SU5 has messed anything up.  Bad news is - it's still as messed up as it's always been as well documented in other threads with seemingly no care to fix.  No ILS on 08, ATC always forces you into visual 15 approach regardless of plan filed.  And still, no parking available when landing.  I guess the devs gave up on this one long ago...sad because it's so pretty.

On to testing the next couple.
