Passing of Frank Cooper Brisbane Australia

Sad news indeed. I enjoyed following his cockpit building and was looking forward to his Max 8. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Michael -
Don't know how I posted twice. Sorry. Ken, there is a sextant available but never worked out using it. It is at https://kronzky.info/fs/sextant/

Very interesting thanks Roger. Raffles always sounds exciting and would have been a feature of the trip. We honeymooned on Lord Howe Island in 1970 and flew there and back on an Ansett Sandringham flying boat. A memorable trip indeed. Jimmy Edwards (Comedian) was on board and was treated royally by the crew, invited to cockpit etc. There are a number of files at Avsim by Bruce Kennewell, for a lot of interesting Imperial and Qantas flights in FS2004, but can be converted to FSX. Thanks for your information. Michael.

Hi Rodger. I like the old Qantas and Imperial flying boat routes from Australia to England. Would have been a great trip, staying at the best hotels along the route. Also KLM from Holland to Jakarta (Batavia) and on to Australia in DC-2's. Panam Clippers to New Zealand and other Pacific destinations as well as South America and UK are fun as well. The Airline Timetables web site is a great place to start for Historic Airline flights. Cheers Michael.

Sorry, just checked and it isn't the Optica. Bit similar. Michael.

I think it is the Edgley Optica available at Simviation. Cheers Michael.

Brilliant effort Frank. Excellent result for all your work. Michael.

Same problem here. I have upgraded to Windows 10 and disabled Kaspersky Antivirus, even removed it at one stage but the new wrappers still take hours to unwrap. Old ones still OK. Michael.
