tyske
Hello, I recently bought the EGTF airport and installed it on my P3D 2.5. The scenery is very beautiful but it causes my P3D to be out of memory very often compared to other Orbx airports (I have never experienced any). When monitoring on Process Explorer (from Microsoft), the buildings seem extremely memory hungry. It causes VAS to be increased 300MB just by displaying it on the outside view (hiding it restores VAS). I recently installed Trees HD and reinstalled Orbx library. Is this normal or something wrong here? Kind regards, tyske Order Number: FSS0369687
Alex Goff
Hi tyske, What are your display settings? Also what sort of control panel options do you have set for EGTF? England is a VAS hungry area and EGTF definitely does add a load on top of that.
tyske
Hello Alex,Thank you for your reply.I basically set it same as the instructions included on manual PDFfor 5th gen. Intel (except terrain detail section to max and buildingautogen to sparse).I disabled creature flow and people flow on EGTF control panelbut still got OOM.My aircraft is Carenado Bonanza inluded in P3D and I haveFS Global 2010, Active Sky Next but no AI aircrafts, etc.I know that lowering autogen and disabling EGTF's features morewould reduce OOM but this removes all the fun and beautifulpart of this Airport I absolutely had no OOMs on the other Orbx airports so I'm just curious.(It would be great help if someone could post how muchVAS EGTF uses when all options are enabled.)BTW, I really love and admire your airport designs, Alex.PAHO and PAYA are my favorite!Thank you very much, tyske
