GarethW Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 Hi, this has been a problem for a while and despite various AA and other settings in NCP, NI , and P3D I can't seem to bring this flicker problem under control. It's mainly the lighting posts within the airport confines, but from 2-3000ft even the static aircraft stabilisers and wingtips flicker, or 'sparkle' if you will. White textures only. Can also affect Ai road traffic. Anyone managed to solve this one and can pass on their settings? captainwarez Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 i had the same issue with planes, objects sparkling inside airports when viewed at a distance. I recently had to reinstall EVERTHING because of not being able to visit a paid aerodrome without the plane crashing. Anyways this flickering/sparkling i could of sworn this problem didnt show itself before?? Well i have found a solution... just make sure buildings, simobjects and vegetation are 'ticked' to receive shadows in the 'lighting' settings section. Problem goes away.
