JMBIII
In my installation I have separate folders in Sim Objects for AI and UI aircraft. The ORBX Au AI package installs the AI aircraft into the Sim Objects/Aircraft folder and I would like to keep all my AI together in the Sim Objects/AI Aircraft folder. Would it matter if I just moved the FTX AI to the AI Aircraft folder ? ? Or it possible somehow to tell the installer to install the AI aircraft in a certain folder ? I've searched through the forums but have not found any information.
Dave_YVR
As long as you have created a SimObjectPaths pointing to your Sim Objects/AI Aircraft in the FSX or P3d.cfg the ai will work fine.
JMBIII
Thanks, that's what I thought. I was concerned that the AI Control Panel in FTX Central might get confused as to where the aircraft might be, but after looking at the placement of the traffic files, I realised that the only thing the CP did was rename the traffic files. The FSX AI engine just looks for what ever aircraft it wants in the locations set up in FSX.cfg. AI aircraft are all together . . . . . . . 'happy as a bug in a rug'. All my Australian airports are populated !
