vonmar
I wanted to try a free Orbx airport prior to purchasing Orbx airports.I only have Orbx Global Base and North America Fjords installed now.So, I downloaded North America Pack 4Just prior to to the actually setup starting there was an Important Information Box (screenshot) that mentioned:W95, Ocracoke, NC - note:must remove "UTX Usa Group Polygons" in World Scenery/Scenery Library if UTX installed.1. I do have Flight One's UTX USA installed.2. Does the message mean the Orbx airport installer will do this or must I manually do this before installing the free airports?3. Naturally, I would not know exactly what to remove.4. Does this mean all of the UTX polygons are going to be removed or just polygons for this one airport (W95)? Guest
Hi, That message is only an advice to avoid issue of compatibility with UTX for that area. ORBX installers never remove any third party component.
vonmar
Richard, I do have UTX. and the message says I must remove some polygons. My problem is I do not know what polygons are .... and which ones (file or files names) need removing?
Guest
Go into UTX directory and search for bgl files which are named with ICAO code for the airports you want. To inactivate them , just rename to something else than .bgl. I presume UTX works like that as I don't have the product to check
