Alex Goff Posted October 6, 2014 Share Posted October 6, 2014 Freeware airports function much like their payware counterparts, they are designed for the region they sit in. You can install and use them without the requisite region but it will not appear as it was intended. There may be discrepancies like mismatched terrain coloration, roads not lining up, missing autogen, messed up elevations, etc. Other freeware like Holgermesh for Australia can be used without the regions and there should not be any issues.
