GrayRider
I installed the NRM Service Pack 4 a short time ago. During the install I got one error. The error is as follows: F:\FSX\\ORBX\FTX_NA_NRM08_CUSTOM\texture\048b2lm5.bmp A decompression error has occurred(#2026) Unknown decompression error At this point. I clicked retry and the installer continued as required until it completed etc. I don't know what the error above means, and what I should be looking for, if it needs corrected. fltsimguy
I haven't done the updates SPs yet. But that is a lite map file, for night lighting I think for whatever landclass #48 is in the Orbx world.
Alex Goff
Hi GrayRider, It sounds like the installer fumbled for a second, but if you hit "Retry" and the installer continued without a hitch then the file is probably in the right spot now. And as Bryan said, the file is a night texture for a landclass tile. The specific texture is a rural houses and fields texture, if you want to check and make sure it got to the right place you can navigate to C:\...\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_NRM08_CUSTOM\texture and search for "048b2lm5.bmp". If the file turns up everything is ok. Regards, Alex
GrayRider
Thanks Alex. I just checked for what and where you referred to. The "048b2lm5.bmp" file is there. THX GrayRider
