ACTIVE FTX Global graphic spikes

Hi all,

 

Today I purchased FTX Global (v110) and installed it. All appears good however I notice that when panning around, spikes appear very quickly and then disappear again. Happens inside the cockpit and outside and only when panning around. This was never evident prior to installing FTXG. Any ideas on what I should change? Adjusting the Autogen Slider did not seem to make it better or worse. My system spec:

Intel Core i7 4770K Haswel @4.3GHz, Nvidia GTX 680, 8GB Ram, Win 7 x64 Pro and FSX on the same SSD. Only tweak I have in my fsx.cfg that may have relevance is [bufferPools] / UsePools=0 

 

Using DX9.
