What determines rolling sounds

My main aircraft I fly is a RealAir Scout with tundra tires. When taking off from airports here in the states...and upon landing...I get the rumbling of tires rolling and the airframe sounds of shaking as I roll down the runway. At YMML that does not happen in the aircraft I fly from there....default Cessna 172....Flight1 172. I will get a small touchdown sound...different sound on different aircraft....but no rolling sound. However at YRED I get the rolling sound and airframe shaking sound and also at YMEK...have not tested at other airports. I don't consider this a bug and am not reporting as such...just curious as to how landing and takeoff sounds are determined at different airports...or are they all supposed to be determined by the aircraft being used?
