ACTIVE Error installing ftx demo

Before purchasing ftx Global, I'd like to try out the ftx Global iceland demo first. However, when i try to install it, an error pops up when I click next on the version selection (fsx/P3d) screen. The error says:

Radio Buttons 01 > On Next, Line 10: Argument 2 must be type of string.

 

Stack Traceback:

 

1: [Radio Buttons 01 > On Next] Line: 10 in main chunk

 

I've already tried the fsx registery fix, but it didn't work.

 

Any ideas?

Okay, so this is how I solved it:

 

1. Press windows-key + R
   
2. type: regedit
   
3. press enter
   
4. open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\
   
5. Insert new key (right click>new>key) named 'Flight Simulater'
   
6. Insert another new key named '10.0'
   
7. Insert a string value (right click>new>string value) named 'SetupPath' and give it the path to your fsx folder as its value
   
8. Run the installer again and it should work now. (At least for me it did)
