wingclip
High folks, For as long as I've been flying FSX with and without FTX, I'm surprised that I never paid any close attention to that 'Hemispher Latitude' setting in the FSX control panel. I can't seem to get a straight answer regarding what part that plays and maybe even more importantly, where I should have it set. I live in the US and I've apparently always had that set to "Southern Hemisphere". I don't think I actually made that setting, I'm just saying that since I recently became aware of it, that's where it's set. Can someone tell me if I should actually have it set to the Northern hemisphere, (would make more sense, I guess), or if it even matters. As far as the time of day and the seasons are concerned, I can't say that I have ever seen them to be incorrect, (not by much, anyway). Thanks, Rich
