Mike Echo Charlie
Hi all, I just downloaded & installed the FTX Gold Central Rockies scenery and then downloaded and applied the two service packs in order. Everything looks great except the puffy clouds are all hovering right at ground level. I thought it was spots of fog at first, but they were very discreet and clearly just clouds hovering half in and half out of the ground. Any ideas of how to fix this? Order # FSS0239146 from the Flightsim Store thanks, MC
Friedi Gulder
Hi, set weather to Clear Skies and the clouds are gone. Cheers. Friedi.
Mike Echo Charlie
Friedi - I guess that's one solution. I did find out that this may just be an FSX problem. I did a search and found a workaround. If you go into the weather panel after your location loads and don't change anything and just click OK it shifts the cumulus (and presumably other layers also) to a more appropriate altitude above ground surface.
