ernies Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 HI Have just purchased a whole bunch of ORBX titles, Towards the last two or 3 installations I started getting the error message as seen in the screenshot below. Rob Greaves Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 Probably a Windows 7 permissions issue. There are severe problems in getting Windows 7 to un-write protect files and folders. Even Microsoft admit it's not reliably possible. An option might be to 'take control' of the folder as your current user, and then set the user permissions to full. I too am having problems with Orbx scenery, but with files that it can't write to my PC, even having tried the above and made myself a sort of 'super-user' with full control over all folders.
