ACTIVE FTXG EGHI pre-130820ORBXLIBS Airport issue

Hi,

 

Just wanted to report an oddness I resolved:

 

1. Picked up an older ORBX airport this morning;

2. Installed it;

3. Went to EGHI - some odd texture issues;

4. Reinstalled EGHI - texture issues resolved, but:

5. Couldn't choose any settings for Animated Trains in EGHI Control Panel;

6. Deleted EGHI (a. Delete in Scenery Library list in FSX; b. Delete EGHI folder in ORBX folder under FSX; c. Delete related scripts and control panel EGHI files in .eu scripts folder);

7. Reinstalled EGHI

8. EGHI Control Panel showed Animated Trains Default at 1 again, and could choose.

 

I theorize that installing an older ORBX airport might "revert" the library prior to 130905 (which is what EGHI installs), and the above sequence readily resolved it.

 

Or, it was the beer.

 

p.s. I use 7Zip for any .ZIP file over 500MB on my Win8 system; there's weirdness with built-in decompression otherwise.
