warwickm Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Short flight to practice dead reckoning, compass drill & timings between Cooma Snowy Mountains (YCOM) & Polo Flat (YPFT). Using the freeware chipmunk Weather looks great for a little flying. A little cloudy but no problems anticipated......... This does not look good..... where the hell did this come from. But before I can turn round I am in the middle of it. Polo Flat is around here somewhere.... starting to sweat Woohoo thar she blows Polo Flat you beauty Shortest & messiest final & landing ever. But hey I walked away & thats always a good thing (Mainly because I confused the RPM guage with the Altimeter ) See if you can spot which ones which? Off to the bar pronto!!!
